I agree.  There needs to some confirmation that you did everything right no 
matter where thepage you are put on.

  I was surprised when first not getting a confirmation but after reading the 
mannual see that is how it is designed and am fine with it.

  I like the new site and I think after the bugs are worked out it will be

      As for me, I don't care if I am thanked. It is only an automatically 
generated computer response and so is no indication of appreciation. What I do 
care about is some reassurance that I have done everything right and was 
successful. If being returned to my download page is that confirmation it will 
do, but I do feel more comfortable with a more explicit acknowledgment of my 
success.
