  As for me, I don't care if I am thanked. It is only an automatically 
generated computer response and so is no indication of appreciation. What I 
do care about is some reassurance that I have done everything right and was 
successful. If being returned to my download page is that confirmation it 
will do, but I do feel more comfortable with a more explicit acknowledgment 
of my success.
