Grace, try sending a note to K1K support at support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Sometimes they're able to recover these files. My best suggestion is to
wait till they respond before you decide to redo your work.

This never happened to me before. Are you telling me that all my work is
lost? This is terrible.

I guess this means I will have to do back ups as I scan and clean it up.

Hi Grace,

Join the group. I've had that happen and so have several others, but never
have found any solution to it. Nobody seems to know the cause or cure to
it. I have spent hours and days on a book just to lose it at the last
minute in that way. I'll be watching the mail to see if anybody can come up
with a cure for it.

Bud

Hi Everyone:

I hope someone has a solution for me. I scanned a book in K1000, cleaned it
up, read it through and am ready to submit and I can't open the file. It
says an error occurred. It's still in kes format.
