As far as I can tell, it takes only a few seconds. I just joined last night
and I think it's really interesting. It is a matter of each day going to a
website and checking the updates of the people you are following. If you
don't want to go to the website, there are several other ways to read
updates. You can have them text messaged to your cell phone, or messaged to
you at your preferred instant message program. That's about all I know just
now as I've only
recently joined.
