Of course. Being a non for profit, it is kind of a main goal to fund raise.

GDB allows all its grads, encourages actually, smile, us to fund raise when
we can.

The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to
stare up the steps - we must step up the stairs.

Also, you can point out, that a donation of books or funds to bookshare is a
tax deductible donation, something very prized around income tax time.

All she would need is a receipt from bookshare stating the value of the
donation.

I think writing to her is a great idea. You might tell
her how many fans she has here (you probably were
already planning t do that) and how many of her books
are already scanned and in the collection. As for our
buying her books -- I get mine from the library, but
I've looked at the bookshelves in the grocery store
and drugstores where they have popular paperbacks for
sale and not one so far has had one of hers, though
they do have other popular authors such as Maeve
Binchey, Sandra Brown, Grisham, etc. I've wondered
why. Is that something she doesn't want?
