Vic,
That might be your problem. When you open a brf with Kurzweil Kurzweil must
back-translate the file, which can cause errors to proliferate. I recommend
that you check out the Daisy version of this same book, which you can open
in Kurzweil, to see if it's really a mess or if the problems are just
back-translation artifact.
