Perhaps I'm just too much of a perfectionist. If I see a series I want to read, I don't submit them to bookshare or anywhere else until I can get my hands on the first book of a series, if that series is best read in order, such as the sword of truth series I cited in my original message.
I just wondered, is all.----- Original Message ----- From: "Shelley L. Rhodes" <juddysbuddy@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

It is called, 1. What books are available to them. most libraries don't have an entire series of books. 2. Maybe they read those earlier in the series from another accessiblesource like Web Braille and NLS. but now they want to fill in where NLS hasstopped. Smile. Shelley L. Rhodes B.S. This is not a criticism, just a matter of curiosity. But why do people submit books in the middle of a series if bookshare doesn't have the books previous to that one in the series? Let's take sword of truth for instance. As far as I know, we have all tenbooks on there. But let's say we didn't. MOst likely somebody would submitbook 6 first, lol. WHat kind of thinking goes into that decision? I know Bookshare does not have the first four books so I will try to see about getting those as well. They are really good mystery books, similar to the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich. If you like Ranger, you'll like Jagger. Ex-nurse-turned-insurance fraud investigator Pauline Sokol's willing to risk anything to put a bad doc out of business even her best friend Goldie's near perfect proboscis! Her cross-dressing compadre has agreed to get his shnozz bobbed so Pauline can pose as his private nurse and gain entry into Highcliff Manor-a posh plastic surgery "spa" making an illegal killing with their repeat clientele. But when a super-rich "frequent flier" is unexpectedly widowed-and a receptionist who knows too much is given the boot . . . off a nearby cliff!- Pauline realizes she's stuck her own nose into something really nasty. Despite the pleasant distraction of the hunky Dr. Neal-and the unexpected appearance of her sexy cohort, Jagger-Pauline can't shake the feeling she's being closely watched. And if she's not careful, she'll be the next one who goes under the knife!
