Hi Cindy:

As to the misspelling of Mira, that was laziness on my part for not checking on the spelling before emailing you. It was spelled correctly in the copy right field.

Shannon,

I think I sent you a copy of the letter I sent to
administrators when I uploaded Never Say Die.

First, in the commments section, I explained, as you
had done before, what was on the cover and title page
vis a vis what was on the copyright page. Then,
although Never Say Die wasn't listed in the gov.
copyright page, I copied two other entries that showed
Tess Gerritsen claiming copyright as Terry Gerritsen.
In addition, after I uploaded, I sent a letter with
the same information to admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I post this here in case it's useful info to others
having the same problem with acceptances or rejections
because of copyright info being needed.

Mike, as to Grace's upload of On a Snowy Night, she
did send me a copy of the copyright page, as you did.
I noticed in her accompanying letter that M i r a was
mis-spelled M i r r o r. Whether it was spelled that
was on the upload form, I don't know. Hopefully
she'll tell us what the problem was and how it was
corrected.

Now that those two books are in the collection, it
would be nice if some of the other books in the pool
got there. I do know, though, that if there's any
particular book one wants in the collection
immediately, Gustavo or whoever is very good about
approving it and putting it in, so one doesn't have to
wait. In the meantime, I'll keep checking the
collection for books I've validated and approved, and
when they get into the collection I'll post here. I
realize that there's not much point in posting before
that because the books aren't available immediately
after being uploaded. smile But you all have enough, I
suppose, to read during your Christmas holidays. Jake,
will you be going to Chicago this time, or have I
asked you that before.

To all of you students who have finals or papers due,
good luck.

Cindy

Hey Mike, I know how you feel. When I went to look
at the new books last
night, I was thunderstruck to see Never Say Die by
Tess Gerritsen, a book
many of us have had trouble with, in the collection.
 I bow down at our
angel Cindy's feet! How she did it I do not know!

Well, "on a Snowy Night" made it into this
collection today.
Grace, as I believe you were the final validator,
can you tell us what you
put into the comments field (or anything else that
you did) that got
Gustavo to give it his Christmas blessing for
admittance into the hallow
 halls of Booksharedom.
