Rik, just go to bookshare's site, after log in, go to volunteer home, then go to the link that says books awaiting approval if it has not been in the approval cue yet, it may still be on the list of books being on step one, I'm probably not making any sense because I haven't eaten any dinner yet, plus my chops are pretty much fried from playing to my heart's content on the trumpet, "Billie's Bounce" by Charlie Byrd Parker has really got me to the point I'm struggling with one bar, sad but true. When will I be able to master it fully, who knows accurately, shucks, that's just girrrrrhrrhrhrhrhrhrrrhrrrhrrhrrrrate! Hope someone who has no problem of sounding rather complicated can help you out buddy.

Since I learned to play the trumpet at the tender age of 10, I have spent so much passion and much diligence with that instrument that I will not give up on it. Sometimes my instrument puts me into awkward situations where I feel like they won't ever end, but the trumpet gives me a lot of hope with the majestic, crystal-clear sound it brings to my ears.

But is this page a page of approved books into the collection?
That is what it seems to be.
Is it only by looking through the multiple pages of books ready to checkout 
that I may find out whether the book is being scanned or has been scanned
and awaiting approval?

I have not yet begun the scan.
And just wanted to know if it the book is in process with another volunteer 
at Bookshare.
Amber had posted a page as a reply, but I was not sure what that was either. 
it seemed like it was an announcement of the book's new publication.

Sorry to be so dense here.
My computer and I are barely speaking.
Maybe it is the 25 below zero temperature.
Maybe it is the temperamental nature of my old computer.
Or maybe it is that I need to go back to my cave and teach school! (smile)

My apologies for posting the list with something I should know.
But I don't remember how to now read the most current list of books being 
scanned.
I have been not especially active and reading the posts on the list.

We at our house have just purchased several signed copies for gifts at
our local bookstore of the new book by 3 Cups of Tea author, Greg
Mortenson.
The new book is called Stones Into Schools.

Does anyone know if it is in process of approval or is being scanned?

I am quite enthused for this project and happen to live in the town where 
he lives.
He was on Diane Rehm show last week, Thursday I think, and gave a great
