I also,after reading the article at the site, checked te government copyright site and Beatrice Sparks, the psychologist, owns the copyright with a 1971 copyright date. THe authorship controversy doesn't take away from the importance of the book, though, I think. However, Gustavo--if you're reading these posts, the copyright owner should be changed from Simon & Schuster to Beatrice Sparks.
