[bksvol-discuss] Re: blank pages, numbering pages, and picture inserts

Pictures and their captions at the end of the book is a good solution, one that
Gustavo recommended to me a few years ago.

My 2 cents, Carrie

Well, Cindy, you still wrote quite an epistle. <lol>

Mayrie makes the point I was going to make (but I read
my mail before answering--aren't I a good girl?).
Sometimes, also, there are un-numbered pages with
photographs between two consecutive numbered pages.
These usually are history books, or biographies, and
I've had at least two or three like that that I can
remember. In that case, I put a note that between
pages, say, 82 and 83, to use Mayrie's sample, there
are photographs. Then I include the captions and put
the page breaks where they are in the book. Then I
[ick up the text and the page numbering.

Sometimes I think, though, that it might be better if
I put the pictures and captions at the end of the
book, so they don't interrupt the text. Any opinions?
