I’m so sorry about this. This is a known bug that we currently don’t have the
resources to fix right now. If you, and anyone who continues to experience this
issue, could please send me screen shots, dates, and times, of when this
happens I’d appreciate it! I know some of you are already doing this, which is
perfect.

No, I guess I wasn't clear -- I got the email reminder but there was no
renewal link, and the mail came several days or even a week or 2 before the
expiration date. That's what annoys me (I copied Madeleine). I check every day
or 2 but there isn't a renewal link, even when I get email reminders at times
-- and at least once a file was released and I had to go the checkout list --
when the file wasn't there I had to post asking the person who might have
taken it toe release it so I could get it again.
The no renewal link problem had existed ro a long time, if I remember
correctly. You'd think if would has been fixed by this time. I guess that for
some reason it can't be there permanently ( thogh since expiration dates and
the "release" and "check in links'seem to be there permanently I don't
understand why the renew link can't also be ... but thenI'm not an engineer.
