Hi Valerie,

Thanks for the clarification. I was pretty surprised when I wrote the message
to the list, but did later write to the individual, and asked that the book be
returned to the checkout list. It has already been returned, so I'm relieved!

I'm glad to hear things are settling a bit at your house. And I hope everyone
is feeling better!

I, too, highly recommend this book. It is just fascinating!

Sandi

  Hey, Sandi!

Sorry for the trouble; it happens WAY too often! FWIW, not wanting to split
hairs, but you want to hope the person RELEASES the book, rather than checking
it in, because checking it in would mean it is in the approval queue.

BTW, folks, I heartily recommend reading Gray Matter: A Neurosurgeon
Discovers the Power of Prayer... One Patient at a Time by David Levy, Joel
Kilpatrick that Sandi scanned and I proofed after chatting with Dr. Levy via
his blog on a friend's recommendation. And, yes, this neurosurgeon actually
personally replies to his email. It was a gritty, humbling book sharing
success and failure with honesty.

Sorry we have been so absent; we have all been dealing with health problems
or tech issues in addition to our puppy getting ready to start home service dog
training, but we are starting to get back on top of things. Thanks everyone
for your patience; Bookshare is our sanity touch point. Smiles!

  Have a great weekend!

  Valerie

Thanks, Mayrie. I stopped a fter "Being Edited by." I'll remember this.

I really hope this book will be checked back in!

    Hi Sandi,

On the book information page, just below the "reading tools" link is a link
to the book history. On that page you can always find the e-mail address for
folks who have worked on any particular book.

Hope that helps you out some time.

    Mayrie

Thanks, Roger. I didn't see that information in the "Book Information"
page for the book. I did find a name, but not the e-mail on "My Scans in
Process," so thanks for the e-mail.
