To left justfy a page number, Put your cursor on the leftmost char in the 
page number; press shift-home;press ctrl-x.  page number is now 
left-justfied and any junk to its left will be gone.

I hate to admit that I don't know how to do this, but in Kurzweil how do 
you 
assure that the page number is at the left margin. Jill
