Hi guys,
Go ahead and wait until Scott's copy has made it into the collection, to avoid possible confusion.

Thanks,
Jake

Lisa,

I won't have time to look it over for the next few days, so keep it for now, pending word on what should be done with that copy.

Scott

Hmm,

Jake, I currently have the other copy out for validation. Scot produces excellent scans, so I have no problem rejecting it. however, I've only rejected if a book has already been processed and published on the site for downloads. Would an explanatory note to Gustavo be sufficient to reject this copy? I want to avoid any confusion which may result from having two copies of the same thing being sent to the admin cue at the same time.

Scott, I can release this copy just in case you're interested in looking it over now.

Lisa

Hi Scott,
You may want to double check that the other copy is of lesser quality, but it sounds like it is. If that's the case, unfortunately it will need to be processed and rejected.

Lisa,

That one was my fault. I looked on step 1 in late May, but it was before the 29th because I didn't see the book there at that time. I had expected to be starting the book several weeks ago, but ended up having to wait, and forgot to check step 1 in the interim. As it stands, I've scanned and validated the book, and it is awaiting Gustavo's green light. The accuracy was rated at 99.96, so it is quite clean. Should there be anything done about the other copy which is still on step 1?

Scott

Hi, Scott.

Sorry I didn't see your message until now.

There is already a copy of Open Season on the Step 1 page. It was submitted on May 29 of this year.

I took a look and it is a very clean scan that doesn't require a lot of fixing up.

. it's a 2004 edition that includes an afterward written by the author.

Lisa

Off Season

Jack Ketchum

September. A beautiful New York editor retreats to a lonely cabin on a hill in the quiet Maine beach town of Dead River-off season-awaiting her sister and
friends. Nearby, a savage human family with a taste for flesh lurks in the darkening woods, watching, waiting for the moon to rise and night to fall.

And before too many hours pass, five civilized, sophisticated people and one tired old country sheriff will learn just how primitive we all are beneath
the surface.and that there are no limits at all to the will to survive.
