I do sympathize with your point here. Being opposed to censorship is a very strong principle with me and I have a really hard time just letting advocacy of it just pass. But it was described as opening a can of worms and unfortunately every time this particular can of worms is opened it tends to generate so much email that I can hardly find time to do anything else but read and answer email. It is a dilemma though, just let it go or be inundated with email.

Can we not get into this all again. At least lets give it a rest for six months or so. It hasn't been that long that our In Boxes were overwhelmed by adult content messages. Or the few of you who insist can discuss it off line. Denise At 09:13 PM 6/20/2010, you wrote:That's kind of unfair to children who are interested in sex and violence isn't it? Somehow I don't get people who arrogantly insist on imposing their own tastes on other people. How about all of us reading what we like and letting everyone else read what they like and stop trying to suppress the interests of anyone no matter what their age might be. _ _ _ "Socialism is an attack on poverty." - W. I think with the amount of children on bookshare for educational purposes as well as pleasure reading, books with sexual descriptions, strong language, and violence should have an adult rating, but based on many prior emails on this, it's obvious that this opinion is not shared with the majority, but I did want to take this opportunity to let my feelings be known about this issue. Thanks and have a blessed day. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Grace Pires" <silvara@xxxxxxx> To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, June 20, 2010 9:26 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] adult content?Hi Everyone:Please remind me. Would I mark a book with strong language and violence asadult? I tend to think yes. What is bookshare's policy? Thanks.
