I've added Birth of the chess queen to the nonfiction wish list. The synopsis
on Amazon makes sound very interesting. The author relates the rise to power
of women through the centuries, e.g., queens,to
change in chess of the Vizier to queen. The synopsis of the book on Amazon
makes the book sound interesting
The book was requested a few years ago, along with a lot of books about how to
play chess and. Rather than add all those now to the current nonfiction wish
list, I'll save them and if anyone wants to scan any of them, you can write to
me off list and ask for the list.
