What brilliant common sense you demonstrate! I don't know why, but I
assumed the running headers weren't present in the book. No idea why.

Hi Mayrie and Melissa,
I recently proofed a book with no page breaks in it. However, it did
have running headers and page numbers. I just put in a page break before
each page number, and the book was accepted. As Mayrie said here, you can
make a page break by hitting control plus enter. Hope this helps!

Hi Melissa,
In order to add page breaks to a file that you are proofreading, you'll need
a hard copy of the book to work from. The book needs to have the same exact
ISBN as given to the book in your file.
To add page breaks, you'll need to look at the hard copy of the book.
You need to look at the bottom of one page, and the top of the next. Find
the place in your file exactly between the last word on one page, and the
first word on the next page.
Place your cursor at this point in the file and press control+enter. This
keystroke will insert a page break where it belongs, between the last word
on one page and the first word on the next, where it should be.
You'll need to do this for every single page of the book.
If this can't be done for any reason, either you can't acquire an exact hard
copy of your book, or you can't utilize a print book yourself, the book will
need to be rejected.

Hi all.
I proofread a book and submitted it.
It was sent back because page breaks were missing.
Where do I find information on placing page breaks in a book that I am
proofing.
As well as how I can make sure that they remain?
If its easier, just drop me a short explanation in layman's terms.
