visual, and auditory perception,  I'd like to read them as well.

Hi Brad,
There was just a discussion of this on the member list, and I was
remembering a study I read about braille reading being handled by the 
visual
cortex when the person involved learned braille very early. Was this the
study you were talking about? I would be interested in seeing articles on
this topic.
