Okay, I think I get it. You need credits so you can get books from other people, not just get a lot of books for free while contributing nothing. The 'more detailed overview" made it clearer to me. Thanks, Amber. ----- Original Message ----- From: Evan Reese To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, February 19, 2006 10:00 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: a thought I checked out the link explaining how it works, and it sounds good. But they don't really explain what's up with the credits. Why do I need them? If I join, why do I get them? Do I need them to trade books? If so, why? What happens if I don't get them? Overall, it looks like they have a lot of books up there of all kinds. ----- Original Message ----- From: Amber Wallenstein To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, February 19, 2006 7:07 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] a thought Hi all: I am on another book group and a lot of the members are using http://www.paperbackswap.com I thought it would be a good way to get rid of those books you don't want anymore, and can get new ones. Just a thought. Amber
