Even the best books can have an occasional problem. Looking at Amber's
Dogtown, it certainly would appear to warrant an "excellent" rating.
Sarah, several weeks ago, posted an eye-opening msg detailing how an
excellently rated book can appear, at a quick glance, still flawed.

You will develop a sixth sense, as you do more validations, as to what is
what.
Also, note when you return a validated book, the Bookshare gives you a
suggested rating based on how its automated system views the scan.
Keep that evaluation in mind when making your decision.
This is art, not science, so you can only become a master through
practice.
