It's a new bug in the Bookshare website. It started after they removed the
quality check information that we used to get when we submitted a book. I
had it happen with a book, so I contacted Vanessa back then and made her
aware of it. She filed a ticket about it with the programmers. I think it
only happens on some books.
Scanners can't do anything to fix it when they submit the book. Staff are
fixing the page number field manually when books are uploaded to the
approval queue if the field shows zero pages. I think a proofreader can fix
the page count field too, when they upload a book to the approval queue.
