Hi all,

In the Window-Eyes control Panel enter the menu bar and use the right arrow to
get to the screen menu. Then, arrow down to attribute changes and press
'enter'. It will be turned off. Caveat, be sure you're looking at the
advanced menu. change that in the global menu. The attribute changes may be
in one of the other menus, but I don't think so.
