[bksvol-discuss] "Wolves of the Calla" and Missing Pages problem

Boomer,

There have been at least two books I've downloaded for
validation, that people told me about, that were
missing an entire last half of the book. Fortunately,
I was able to get the same edition and scan it inand
validae it before uploading it. But there may be a
problem on the bookshare end. I don't know if you've
been following recent posts (maybe you read the
subject line and thought what was in the post wouldn't
interest you -- hint, hint -- a reminder to people,
myself included, to think about what the subject line
says and change it if necessary), but someone recently
downloaded a book (something with Remorse in the
title)and found the same problem -- the last half of
the book seemed to be missing. But Marissa checked and
said the complete book was there. So either, as she
suggested, there were two copies and the incomplete
one got downloaded, or something went wrong in the
download process/conversion for that person and,
perhaps, for you. Hopefully the problem will be
solved.

But you bring up another point that I will answer in
another post with a different subject (I've recently
forgotten to change the subject line myself.)

Cindy
