  I began volunteering because a friend of mine wanted to read a particular 
book and it wasn't on Bookshare.

  I kept volunteering because I love books and I can't imagine wanting to read 
a book and not having it available in a format that a person needs. It makes me 
happy to know my work might make someone else happy. There are now 528 of my 
scans in the collection, dating back to November 28, 2006 and 113 books I've 
proofread in the collection dating back to September 25, 2006.
