I really do think by the time the user gets to the book a way should be
devised to get it to her or him in a way they want. We need an option to
allow the book to be downloaded with or whtiout page numbers. We need to
find out if anyone really wants headers and footers and give them an option
to have them if they are wanted or not. The idea that someone has to
download a book and then work on it to remove unwanted material expects a
lot of computer savvy and a lot of software is available to the end reader.
