If you put a few in there - one on each line - then the stripper might get the first one, but I don't think it will get the rest. Or, if you put a page number at the top of the page, it shouldn't remove any of them.

I'm validating a book the print book of which has no chapter headings of any kind. Each new chapter starts about a third down the page.
