I'd be willing to find some one to validate the fractions on the Weight
Watcher's books, even if I had to hire a reader to do it.
Sharon who right now has a lot of projects on her hands mostly to do with
Aspergers.

Hi, Sharon. I'm glad I could give you some encouragement with your
cookbooks. If you have Kurzweil, you might want to use the optimize
scan feature on a page with text, and you may want to use the
Scansoft Accurate engine. If you use Openbook, I've found that it
helps if I turn on color scanning. That setting doesn't seem to
matter with Kurzweil though. I've scanned several of the Weight
Watchers Family Favorites books and their 365-day menu cookbook with
reasonable results. I've also scanned some healthy food books by
Ruth Glick that came out well, especially her book Skinny Italian
Food. If that hadn't been a library book, I'd have asked to see if
anyone would be willing to work with my print copy to help validate
if I mailed it out. I may try that with my new Taste Of Home
Diabetic Cookbook 2006. It seems to be scanning well so far. :) I
feel a little selfish for having some cookbooks scanned and not
sharing them. I guess I'm willing to experiment with my scanned
recipes because I'm the one who will have to eat the
results. Lol. I don't want anyone else to get mixed up though.
