Sigh. It's unacceptable for nonmembers, too, Sue. I asked about donating 
credits when I first started volunteering and accruing them. The logic of the 
reasons made sense--they told me that (a) bookshare needed the money from 
memberships--this was about 6 years ago--and that the bookkeeping and 
transferring involved would be too time-consuming, etc.
