Hi all, Sue and Roger: Right you are. We cannot change PQ books. The reason being that this is the way the publishers have chosen to format the books. It may not be ideal, but unfortunately we do need to respect the way they formatted it. I thought Bookshare was not allowed to change anything with the PQ Ebooks. Sue S. I think that the problem with volunteers with a print copy in hand adding page numbers to publisher submissions is that they are not the same edition. You would not, for example, use the third edition of a book to correct the pagination in a first edition. Similarly, a print edition has an entirely different pagination than an ebook. Namely, a print edition does have pages and an ebook has no pages. That means that if you are going to insert page breaks on the basis of a print book then you may as well just be inserting them wherever you want without reference to anything. I have 2 comments/suggestions:(1) volunteers as well as members can write reviews for books and I have done so for quite a few books I've proofed; wait until your book has been added to the collection; even though as a volunteer you can't download the book to read you can, if I remember correctly, click on the Review or Write a review ... it's been so long since I've done this I don't remember exactly -- and write and submit a review. I generally write my review in a sepate file, clean it up and then paste it onto the review form; (2) re adding page breaks and numbers to a PQ book: could such a book be put on the queue as a BSO? with the note in the Comments that page breaks and numbers are needed? then those of us who can obtain the print book can take it from the queue and fix it. Finally; Engineering is too busy at the moment to fix the renewal unavailability problem but do you still want us to notify you when we receive the expiration notice with a copy of the line that shows we can't renew?
