Hi Shelley,

Like E., I do not understand why you would get that notice just because
someone's edit time expired. The books are supposed to be released back to
Step 1 if edit time has expired. This issue could really cause problems if
it keeps occurring.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Validaton rejection concern

Hi you all,

I have heard of other submitters getting this rejection notice, and frankly
it bothers me. Especially when one of my "easy" and "prevalidated"
textbooks got it.

it said that the validator's rejection notice was

"Edit Time Expired"

if this is a regular occurance we need to hunt down this validator and
inform them of the use of "renew"

Just as you validators get pissed off about bad scans us submitters get kind
of frustrated by the fact that books we do that are edited completely
languish and languis, or in the case of my

Issues in Aging and Vision

A book I needed in the spring for a class was rejected because "edit time
expired".
