"Body Count" turns out to be a fast-paced crime novel about an Australian sleuth who makes Kay Scarpeta look like a piker, IMHO. Scan is excellent. My problem is that, while there are no chapters, there are some breaks with odd characters; E.G.: ^^ For anyone with punctuation turned off, there are a bunch of karats in there too. Any recommendations on this? It's a double problem: How to indicate the transition, and exactly what those characters are supposed to be.
