Jamie and all -- I have checked this book out for validation. I'll let you know
what I find. Frankly I'm amazed the submitter was able to upload a book of this
size. Jamie, had you made any changes to the file you wanted to reupload?

I used Word and did try to zip. No success. I've probably let the time
expire by now.

What were you using to validate the file? Have you tried the usual running
it through Word and resaving it to try to shrink it some? I've never done
this, but now, people are suggesting zipping it if nothing else works, so
apparently, that's also an option. Take care.

I was unable to upload the RTF version of The Oxford Companion To United
States History. The file was 37Mb. It was a book I was trying to validate.
How does one submit a file of this size? BTW: I am using a broadband
connection. I kept receiving the message that the web page could not be
displayed or that there was a DNS error.
