I have no issues reading other documents. He confirmed for me the only
thing in the document was the title and no other text.

Hello Dixie,

Was he also able to confirm the existence of any text in the Word doc? If
so, do you have problems reading any other docs?

I am running Win XP,and I also have Kurzweil, I downloaded it to a folder I
entitled Validations, went to the folder, clicked on the file unzipped it.
Then when reading in Word the file only had the title of the book and
nothing more. My sighted husband confirmed for me that I was in fact doing
everything correctly in the opening process and there was only the title
there in Word. Then I released the book figuring there was some dysfunction
in the download process. Then again, I went back in and repeated the steps
to download the book, save it to my Validating file, and unzip it and still
the same results. . so, I then again released the book.

Hello Dixie,

Are you running Windows XP or another operating system? If another, which
version? XP and Vista have built in .zip support, while older Windows
versions do not.

After clicking the download link, are you selecting the Open/Run option or
the Save option? If you're selecting Save, which folder on your computer
are you specifying?

I don't know if I am doing something wrong. I tried to download the Book
Joy Adamson's Africa,
twice and all I got was the title, when I unzipped it. There was nothing
else there.

It sounds like something I would enjoy reading though.

Was going through my CF card, and found that there are two really easy,
validations awaiting someone to give them the fifteen minutes of love they
need on the Step 1 page.

Could someone please get off Step 1 and on their way.

The Glorious Flight This is a caldecott book. has been spell checked, read
through, with picture descriptions, I mean how easy can we make this, smile.

Joy Adamson's Africa,

I read this book through completely, again, a really easy validation for
someone if someone is willing to take it on.

Smile.

Just wanting those guys to get into the collection, smile.

Have no use for the credit, but they are great books and as I said real easy
validations unless there is something about them I am unaware of.
