Hi, Shelley, Not sure which is more intriguing, sitting by Jesus on a plane ride or learning about giraffes, animals who are so captivating. Therefore, I have checked out both "A Day with a Perfect Stranger" and Nature's Children: Giraffes. Lucky for me, you had a rainy day.

Also, Jim Party, I proofread "Three Silent Things". I did not find it to be a spellbinding book, but it held my interest, and was almost a perfect scan! Thanks.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Three books submitted

o.k. so it was a truly nasty rainy day here and well what else is there to do then read good books. Smile. Actually some of these were awaiting a pair of eyes to fix something and are now ready for submission.

A Day with a Perfect Stranger
By David Gregory

Sequel to Dinner with a Perfect Stranger

which is already in the collection. Great little novella, what would happen if you ended sitting next to Jesus on a plane trip?

And two more from Nature's Children

Bats
Chimpanzees

I have some more to submit from this series soon, but getting down to the last bunch of books.

The people who burned witches at the stake never for one moment thought of their act as violence;
rather they thought of it as an act of divinely mandated righteousness.
The same can be said of most of the violence we humans have ever committed. -Gil Bailie, author and lecturer (b. 1944)
