Jill, In the example you give, it looks as if "th" is missing. But that doesn't help. Are letters missing from the other words or are they just spaces? One thing I do sometimes when I get odd words that aren't really words, is do a find and zap from to another fixing them before continuing to read. For example, using your example, I'd find "ing" and add th and close it with some and then hit Find again and see if there's another ing by itself and fix that and so on, and then go on reading. I do this mainly because I'm afraid I might miss something otherwise, either because I mentally fix or see the word as it should be or because I'm tired and miss the word. I do this particularly if two words are by themselves normal, because then the spell-check I do at the end wouldn't catch the error.
