Oh man, I use mine with a delay of one second and still have enough time to
flip the page while the scanner is returning to the top of the page. With
this quick little monster I can pump out about 400 pages an hour.
It's really accurate too.

Slow your scanner down to four seconds? Wow. The default is five I
think, and I usually set mine to six.
