Hi Monica,

One slight correction: the stripper replaces each tab with a single space, so 
that the two pieces of text aren't jammed next to each other. It does remove 
extra blank lines and extra spaces, as you said.
You're right about text color, the stripper ignores it entirely.

Hi, Cindy. I really appreciate how careful
you are when working on our books. I’m thankful that we have people like you
on our team. Evan is right about the margins. In fact, the file converter 
Bookshare
uses removes things like tabs, extra blank lines, and spaces. I don’t think
the stripper cares about text colors either, though I could be wrong about that.
Also, in case it helps you to know this, our speech programs don’t tell us
about the margins unless we specifically go looking for that information. The 
Braille
copy of the book doesn’t resemble what you see on your screen at all. (smile)
