Hi Monica, One slight correction: the stripper replaces each tab with a single space, so that the two pieces of text aren't jammed next to each other. It does remove extra blank lines and extra spaces, as you said. You're right about text color, the stripper ignores it entirely. In fact, the file converter Bookshare uses removes things like tabs, extra blank lines, and spaces. I don’t think the stripper cares about text colors either, though I could be wrong about that. Also, in case it helps you to know this, our speech programs don’t tell us about the margins unless we specifically go looking for that information.
