Volunteers,

Do you like learning and playing with assistive technology? Want to help make
Bookshare better?

If yes, volunteer as an Assistive Technology Tester and help make reading
Bookshare books better!

What do Assistive Technology Testers do?

Testers run an assigned device or computer software through reading exercises
Testers record if the device or software passes or fails each exercise and
shares their insights
That's it! Bookshare will then take this valuable research and find ways to
improve reading experiences for everyone!

Sign up today! You can do so by writing to Scott Rains at scottr@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
The manager of the project, Liz Dracknik, will be in tuch with those who are
selected once she returns from vacation on Monday July 11.

Questions:

How will the test be conducted? Testers follow an online question and answer
guide and enter their findings (link will be shared later)

Do you need to have a specific assistive technology to participate? No, so
please volunteer if you have any interest. However, for certain devices,
priority will be given to testers who already have the technology in their
possession.

How long do you have to test a technology? Testers are given two weeks to
complete a test once they have signed on as a formal tester.

What AT will be tested?
