Well--I looked up the Companion in amazon. Apprently
the 1994 edition has been out of print is and is,
perhaps, pricey. I can't tell if the 2001 edition adds
more, but volume 2 is complementary rather than a
replacement. The 1994 edition was published before all
the Niccolo series was complete.
