The best approach to me would be for BookShare to initially keep the
headers in its posted copies but offer stripping as an option as part of
the download process.
I don't know how feasible this would be, my hunch is that it wouldn't, but
almost any other solution is going not to please someone.
For those of us with packages such as K1000 or Open Book, this is a
non-issue.
For a lot of people, however, it is a real concern as I would imagine most
BookShare users neither own either of these packages say nothing of a
scanner.
They come here to read, and they want ready-to-go materials.
