Hey, yes, I see why the Nancy Drew and Hardy boys older stuff is a lower priority for you as many of them are available. You'll probably be filling in the gaps for Nancy Drew but not sure about Hardy boys. I never knew there were so many Nancy Drew mystery stories but I'm not sure where classics stop and moderns start. I'm just glad you and others are making these things available for kids. If I had a kid, I'd get them to read some from older generations and some from today so they could appreciate how our culture and history have changed and developed yet some things stay the same. Thanks again and keep up the great work. ----- Original Message ----- From: Valerie Maples To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, February 15, 2011 2:57 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Thanks for a job well done Thanks for appreciating our work on older, but timeless books. I am LOVING it and cannot get enough of these older series. I have a number of the original Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys to work on, but they are down on my list since they are so much more available than some of my hard to find series. I am sure I am one of many who applaud your efforts and strongly encourage you to continue your top quality work in getting these and other timeless pieces of literature out there for people of all ages to read some fantastic literature that would not otherwise be available. I feel like a kid at Christmas every day when I check the lists and find titles I really like of this nature and many others being added to the collection, in process, awaiting approval, and in the works being scanned and/or ready for checkout to be proofread. Your dedicated hard work is appreciated more than you'll ever know and more than I could ever express. I want to see more of this type book as well as older Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys and other clean books for many generations of not only children in this generation but "kids" of all ages who are reading what they were not able to read due to lack of equal access with their piers as a child or teenager. Thanks again and keep up the diligent work.
