Hi Reggie,

I use Jaws and Windows Live Mail. If you want to add a person to your address book, Windows Live calls it contacts. Open a message from the person. Tab until you see "contact's name". Then the next tab will say "add contact". Press enter on add contact and you will see first name, tab last name, tab email address, then there sill be a couple of tabs you can ignore, then you will see "add contact". Press enter on that and your contact will be added. Then you press escape to get out.

Then the next time you write to that contact, you can type a couple of letters of the first name, and then if you tab, you will see the name, such as Kim Friedman. In other words, it will still complete the address, but you have to tab to see it after typing a couple of letters. You will see the name and address all jumbled together, but it will come out right when the message is sent.

I hope this is explained clearly enough. If not, just holler. (smile)

If you want to see your list of contacts, press control plus n for new message, then do shift plus tab and you will see "select contacts", and there will be your list alphabetized. It doesn't automatically add them like Outlook Express does unless you set up a message rule.

Kim Friedman, thanks ever so much for all the documents you sent! Now for my
Jaws, Windows, Windows Live, any other program, question?

On any of my other computers doing email when I start an email address it
will finish it for me. I am using Windows Live on a laptop. What program
or where in Jaws is the command to automatically put email addresses in my
address book and where do I find the command to get the computer to write
the address automatically from my address book? To make this Bookshare
oriented, I wanted to write to Kim privately. However, I could not get the
address automatically. Would like to be able to answer privately. Thanks
for any help on this. Hubby says he has no idea. The computers just "do"
it. However, this one doesn't! (smiles) Off to read Laurie's fascinating
book about Moscone!
Reggie

Hi, Melissa, I suspect your form went through even though you may have
been told it didn't. You can know this because you'll get a thank you.

This evening I've been trying to submit a quality report on a book. I
fill out the form, but when I click on the submit button nothing
happens. Has anybody else had any troubles submitting quality reports?
If I'm unable to send it through the web site, is there someone at
Bookshare that I can email about the quality of a particular book.
