I don't quite understand; "that only loks lke an ellipsis" should put
3 periods and a space between the chapter tile and the page on n wh ich
the chapter starts? Are these correct:
Chapter One... 1
Chapter Two... 23

Hi Elizabeth,
Beverly was correct in that three periods in a row is essentially an
ellipsis.
It’s only MS Word in it’s ham-handed approach that converts three typed
periods into that graphical representation of an ellipsis. That graphical
character isn’t recognized or converted correctly by the braille conversion
software that Bookshare uses.
So, yes, you need to turn off the autocorrect options in Word so that you
can type three periods/an ellipsis followed by a blank space in the table
of contents.
