Hi Cindy,
That’s correct.
I believe that you use a Mac, so you do still need to be careful of any
autocorrect options in Word that may be enabled that would turn those three
periods into a graphical character that only looks like an ellipsis.

Chandra and a question about using the Tab bar
Thank you;in trying to copy your note and paste it into my list of "rules" I
lost the example; am I right that it's ellipsis, space & then page number? Is
this right: / Chapter Two... 23
Many thanks
Cindy

Hi Elizabeth,
Beverly was correct in that three periods in a row is essentially an ellipsis.
It’s only MS Word in it’s ham-handed approach that converts three typed periods
into that graphical representation of an ellipsis. That graphical character
isn’t recognized or converted correctly by the braille conversion software that
Bookshare uses.
So, yes, you need to turn off the autocorrect options in Word so that you can
type three periods/an ellipsis followed by a blank space in the table of
contents.

Arrthi, I can't find the books by Jessica Beck, i.e. Sinister Sprinkles and
