From the Bookshare Wish List, I'm embarking on scanning titles by children
author Jane Yolen.
I do them in such a way that hopefully makes validation easy. Page numbers,
spelling and scanos corrected, etc. There were TWO copyright dates. I used
the most recent when uploading the RTF file to the Step 1 page.

VOLUNTEER COMMENTS:
Scanned with the Kurzweil K-1000 version 11. Page headers were normalized,
moving page numbers from bottom to top of each page. There was no header
text. Spell checker was used, followed by ranked spelling -- achieving an
accuracy at completion of corrections to a 99.97 percent ratio. Most pages
had illustrations, but there were no text captions I still have a K-1000
KES image saved version of most pages the book, should a question arise
