Deborah, since I have problems sending messages to you, I'll praise you publicly. I just wanted to tell you I have just validated Flight of a Witch. As usual, it was a fantastic scan. In Kurzweil's rank spelling, by changing a few words, and ignoring many others, I was able to get this to 100%. Kurzweil has an interesting message when that happens. It says something like, "you have no misspellings in your document. How did that happen?"

Anyway, just thought I'd tell you about it.

Bob

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Submitted another Ellis Peters mystery

Hi all,

I've just submitted the third in the Inspector Felse mystery series, Flight
of a Witch, by Ellis Peters.

Headers have been stripped; chapter titles and page numbers protected.
K1000 ranked spelling over 99.9%.

[Back of Book]
"There is a kind of beauty that produces wolf whistles, and another kind of
beauty that creates silence all about it, taking the voices out of men's
mouths and the breath out of their throats."
Annet Beck's beauty is of the second order and it worries her parents so
much that they guard her as closely as a prisoner. . .until the rainy
Thursday in October when she disappears.
Annet is last seen vanishing over the crest of Hallowmount, a hill in the
remote Welsh Country believed to be the domain of witches. Five days later
she mysteriously reappears, claiming that she was gone for only two hours.
Detective Inspector George Felse doesn't believe in witchcraft, but he does
believe in love and he never underestimates its power, especially when it
may have led to murder. . .
Deborah
