That makes a kind of sense. I just want the books there when the urge comes upon me. One of my big frustrations with NLS was that they'd often do something crazy like Book 2 in a series, but not the rest. So last time I bought books for Bookshare, I bought all seven books of Simon Green's Nightside series. Even if I don't read them all now, I just know they're there waiting. I see your point, though. I just read T is for Trespass. I hadn't read a Sue Grafton novel in more than a year, and coming back to Kinsey's crazy life was a lot of fun after the break. _____ From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of BlindGeek Sent: Saturday, February 02, 2008 8:18 PM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Submitted: Full Moon Rising (Riley Jenson #1) I will say, I won't be putting them up all at once. I generally don't read series books back to back, because I tend to get burned out quickly when I try that. I figure the books were published a month apart, so I have some leeway. <Grin> ----- Original Message ----- From: Lora <mailto:loravara@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, February 02, 2008 4:09 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Submitted: Full Moon Rising (Riley Jenson #1) I tried to grab the book to validate, but it looks like it was already gone. Thanks for planning to do the whole series. I like it much better when, if I get addicted to a book, the rest are their to be devoured. _____ From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of BlindGeek Sent: Saturday, February 02, 2008 4:40 PM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Submitted: Full Moon Rising (Riley Jenson #1) Yes, I really enjoyed that book. BTW, to whomever ends up validating it, when Openbook converts to .rtf, for some reason all regular quotation marks appear as closed quotation marks. A simple find/replace can fix this problem, and I've been trying to remember to do that with submissions since discovering this ... er ... feature of Openbook ... but I forgot this time. <Sigh> Old habits die hard, and all that. I appologize for any inconvenience this causes the reader. My oops. ----- Original Message ----- From: Lora <mailto:loravara@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, February 02, 2008 11:24 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Submitted: Full Moon Rising (Riley Jenson #1) Oh, this sounds like a fun romp. _____ From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of BlindGeek Sent: Saturday, February 02, 2008 12:14 PM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Submitted: Full Moon Rising (Riley Jenson #1) This is the first in a new series (Okay, it's not really new now, it's five books in, but it's new to Bookshare, darn it!) about a woman who's half-werewolf, half-vampire. This is a great first entry, but be warned, it's definitely got adult content. Here's the back-cover info. * * * A rare hybrid of vampire and werewolf, Riley Jenson is just trying to find her place in the world. And it's not always easy for a woman like herself, especially when her work- for an organization created to police the supernatural races-brings her face-to-face with some of the sexiest men imaginable. More werewolf than vampire, Riley is vulnerable to the moon heat: the phase when her need to mate becomes all-consuming. But when her twin brother Rhoan is taken hostage, Riley must stay focused-even when an extremely seductive, deliciously naked, and very disoriented vampire shows up on her doorstep looking for Rhoan. Now she'll have to control her urges if she's going to find her brother... because the people who took Rhoan have another target in mind: Riley! * * * Enjoy. The other books in the series will be coming soon. I have them all, I just need to scan them.
