You bet. I also think it was one of the greatest inventions for the blind. I would probably stop scanning and proofreading for Bookshare if I couldn't use an Optacon to check my work.

There are still some out there for sale. If you subscribe to the Optacon list, there are messages from time to time from those wanting to sell their unused Optacons. I'll send you the link to the mailing list if you like.

And you can still get them repaired. In fact, I'll be sending mine out in the next week or so for some much-needed fixing up. It works, but it can't last much longer. I'm literally holding my camera together with tape!
