Hi all,
Firstly, I'd like to applaud the work the BookShare Team and Volunteers
have done in the first quarter of 2006! This year is definitely shaping up to
be a good one from all the signs we've seen so far, ie. increased funding that
will allow BookShare to begin work on meeting some long term goals.

That said, I'm happy to report that the Step 1 page has been less than 400
books for a few days now. I'm hoping this is because books aren't sitting
around on it forever, and not that people are working on 15 books at a time.

And, that said, I know some of you have been wanting to root out the titles
that have been on the page for a long time. I've compiled a list of the tob 27
books that have been there since before February 2005. And actually a couple of
the books were submitted as early as January 2004!

title author

Rome's Revenge Sara Craven

Quinn Patton
Untilization Focused Evaluation Micheal Quinn Patton
"Critical Issues in Special Education: Access, Diversity, and Accountability"
"AUDREY McCRAY SORRELLS, HERBERT J. RIETH, PAUL T. SINDELAR"
Remember Names Dale Carnegie

Yeah, I know a lot of these titles look boring and generally unappealing. The
only one I have personal experience with is the Mystery of Capital. The book
has lots of split words and little things that need correcting. If someone were
interested in cleaning up the book it would be doable, and that's the only
reason I didn't reject it.

BTW this list was ordered with the oldest books at the top.

Happy Volunteering!
Jake
